
Yahoo! News is reporting this morning that Cingular has started to charge existing customers $5 extra each month to users who are still using TDMA phones from AT&T and Cingular's old network.
The new fee, which will add $23.5 million per month to Cingular's bottom line, has been presented as a way to dedicate more money to develop their newer GSM network, but it's still a dirty way to treat your customers who no doubt have been very loyal considering they're on TDMA phones.

Now that we're just four days away from the iPhone launch, we figured we would try to track down some little-known facts about the much-desired phone that Apple is launching this Friday at 6pm. That's 6pm local time, whereever you are, in case you didn't know.
1. "Visual Voicemail" - where most voicemail services require you to listen to voicemails in order, the iPhone displays voicemails as e-mails in your inbox - you can pick and choose which ones to listen to.
2. The iPhone's display is made of optical-quality glass, making it more or less scratchproof. All the better to protect that beautiful 3.5" 320x480 touchscreen.
